We believe sovereignty resides in the person.
The CPAC Foundation is a charitable organization founded in 1973 by William F. Buckley, Jr. and other conservative luminaries to educate voters, office-holders, and thought leaders regarding conservative policies and the principles that undergird them. Chief among these principles is that no other country on earth has been established on the premise that the people can and ought to govern themselves. Testing this proposition is, indeed, the great American experiment. To further that experiment, the CPAC Foundation works to restore the philosophy of classical liberalism (modern conservatism): the idea that sovereignty resides in the person.
